There are some ways to reach Bob Hope Airport (Hollywood Burbank Airport).
To get to and from the Bob Hope Airport, passengers should use the Hollywood Way Exit N 149 off Interstate 5, the Hollywood Way (Westside) or Pass Ave (Eastside) exit 2, Route N134. Both car and pedestrian access to the terminal is available at Thornton Avenue, on Empire Avenue or at Hollywood Way.
At BUR airport, there are two bus stop areas available. With a short walking distance at the east of Terminal A, there is a Hollywood Way-Thornton Ave, and another bus stop is located in a short walking distance at the south of Terminal B - Empire Ave/Intermodal. All Burbank-bound Bus lines serve the Downtown of Burbank (Metrolink station).
The following Bus lines are accessible: Metro Local N94 goes to the Downtown of LA and Sylmar and departs from Hollywood Way; Metro Local N165 goes to Burbank and West Hills, departs from Empire Ave. There are also other routes, such as Metro Local N169 which goes to Burbank and Warner Center, and leaves the airport from Hollywood Way, Metro Rapid N794 goes to the downtown of LA and Sylmar and departs from Hollywood Way.
There is a Taxi service available at the Bob Hope Airport. Taxi cabs are situated on the ground transportation level in front of the Airport terminal. The following Taxi Companies serve the passengers at BUR, City Cab (Phone: 818-848-1000), United Taxi (800-892-8294), and Checker Cab (Phone 800-750-4400). The fares of the Taxi service are individual and depend on the miles and location.
There Metro Orange Line and Red Line operate at the airport. Currently, those lines terminate at North Hollywood station, and an extension is planned for the near future.
Amtrak/Metrolink Ventura County Line serves at the Burbank Airport–South station, located in the south of the airport. BUR has provided a free airport shuttle bus with luggage racks that carry passengers between the terminals and the train station. Passengers can reach the following destinations via Ventura County Line: Ventura County and downtown Los Angeles. However, via Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner, passengers can go to San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Anaheim, San Diego, and downtown Los Angeles.
Another option is Metrolink Antelope Valley Line serving from the Burbank Airport-North station. Airport’s free shuttle bus is provided here too. The line stops at the following destinations: the downtown Los Angeles and Antelope Valley.
